Deployment Highlights & Capabilities
Overview & Campus Security Revamp
In September 2018, Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) decided to revamp its security system in order to ensure higher safety and address inappropriate actions within the campus territory.
WAB adopted Senturian products as the core engine for its campus surveillance system.
Campus-Wide Deployment
To date, over 600 Senturian Matrix licenses were implemented together for 1100 camera views across the campus.
This deployment provided Senturian coverage throughout WAB's campus surveillance environment.
Face Recognition for the Elementary School
In addition, 36 Senturian Data Library face recognition licenses were deployed on cameras within the elementary school.
The purpose was to identify young children and track their location when they got lost.
Children in the elementary school are between 3–6 years of age. The face-recognition captured area for children tends to be smaller than for adults, at around 1cm on a normal camera view.
The Senturian system was optimized to perform at 98.8 percent accuracy.
